As a family-owned business, we take great pride in the quality of our product. We carefully hand curate our wild caught abalone from the best locations across the Eyre Peninsula, Australia’s home of premium seafood.
Our harvest area is teeming with sea-life, thriving in the nutrient-rich waters of the Great Southern Ocean. Pollution free pristine waters (less than 0.35 people/km) ensure the best in quality, nutrition and the pure sweet flavours our abalone is famous for.

We take the safety of our products very seriously. Eyrewoolf are fully certified by the Australian Wild Abalone (AWA) Quality Assurance Code of Practice.
We operate in line with Australian Government Guidelines for the Ecological Sustainable Management of Fisheries – 2nd Edition, our South Australian industry is certified for export under the Commonwealth Environment Protection and Biodiversity Conservation Act 1999 (EPBC act).
Eyrewoolf was recognised for excellence in the sustainable production of safe, high quality food and setting a benchmark for industry at the 2022 South Australian Premier’s Food and Beverage Industry Awards Gala Dinner, winners of the Primary Producer Award and the coveted Business Excellence Award (for businesses with up to 15 FTEs).

What a SUPER-special treat! A friend gave me an abalone from Eyrewoolf Abalone – a boutique family-owned company practising sustainable fishing practices. Umami gloriousness! In Chinese culture, abalone signifies good fortune and abundance and it’s always been a very special thing for me. Now this is all in my belly I feel very fortunate indeed! Words can’t describe how much I enjoyed this!
